Jenny
Klement

Jenny Klement, MA, LPC-A, is a therapist with Discoveries Christian Counseling Center in Coppell, TX, under the supervision of Diana Morin, LPC-S, LMFT, who has over 30 years' experience serving the Dallas community. Jenny is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate through the State of Texas, and a member of both the American Association of Christian Counselors and the Catholic Psychological Association. Jenny is also EMDR trained. 

 

As she journeys alongside her clients, Jenny seeks to build relationships that foster self-discovery, growth, and healing. Her empathetic and encouraging style allows Jenny to connect easily with others in a non-judgmental way and facilitate their goals for therapy. With degrees in both Theology and Counseling, Jenny strives to integrate theology and psychology in her therapeutic approach to help her clients discover deeper freedom, healing and fulfillment.

 

Jenny has worked in education and ministry for over 25 years, as a teacher, presenter, group facilitator, songwriter, blogger, author and musician. A dynamic speaker, Jenny has given talks and led retreats around the country. Often as Jenny stood before audiences, she found herself sounding like a commercial for counseling...

 

“We all need Jesus. But sometimes we need a therapist too.” 

 

Jenny's impulse to speak this message came from her own personal journey of counseling, which profoundly impacted her life and relationships.

 

Jenny believes so wholeheartedly in the gift of therapy, she decided to pursue it as a profession. She is honored to offer her clients therapeutic accompaniment, in which we are invited to "remove our sandals before the sacred ground of the other", leading them "ever closer to God." (cf. Ex 3:5). (Evangelii Gaudium, 169, 170) 

 

When she’s not working with clients, Jenny enjoys music, gardening, walking the family dogs, riding her Peloton, reading, listening to podcasts, and enjoying a really good cup of coffee. Her favorite pastime, however, is spending time with her family and friends.  Jenny has been married to her husband Kurt for 24 years, and together they have five children, ages 14 to 23.
